Graveyard by the Sea

 

Description
This pristine, picturesque church on the west coast of Norway was so enchanting. The inside of the church was minute....I don't think you could fit a dozen people in it. The usually blustery North Sea weather took a break that day - lucky for me - and blessed me with blue skies and calm. The gravestones were incredible.....ancient...from so very long ago. The graveyard dates to the Middle Ages. On the Varhaug Farm, Norway
